Needham, MA – May 10, 2016 – INFINIDAT, a leading provider of enterprise data storage solutions, today announced its Q1 2016 results, reporting that the company achieved 213 percent sales growth over Q1 2015. Shipments of the InfiniBox™ enterprise storage array to new customers increased by 300 percent versus Q1 2015 and now amounts to 422 petabytes worldwide.

INFINIDAT continued to expand its reseller and distributor channels in Q1, capturing close to half of its revenue from the channel. INFINIDAT signed agreements with additional resellers and distributors in Q1, increasing its list of global channel partners to 204.

“Our quarterly sales growth continues at a triple-digit pace and is a direct result of our expansion across sales channels and around the globe,” said Moshe Yanai, INFINIDAT Founder and CEO. “This growth also includes repeat sales from our existing customer base, proving our ability to deliver on the promise of a high performance, scalable and reliable storage solution. With the InfiniBox storage array, companies are finding that they can reduce their total cost of ownership and better utilize their most important asset — their information — for a greater competitive advantage.”

One of INFINIDAT’s Fortune 500 customers has ordered additional storage arrays five times over the last four quarters and now has over 10+ PBs of InfiniBox storage spread across multiple sites. The customer is using the platform for everything from Tier 1 applications, such as their databases and virtual environments, to their data protection environment.

INFINIDAT continued to achieve significant sales traction in key vertical markets in Q1, reporting that 25 percent of sales was to leading firms in the finance sector, 16 percent was in healthcare and life sciences, 16 percent was in telecommunications and cloud services, and 15 percent was in the technology services sector. Some of INFINIDAT’s new customers have commented on the value InfiniBox has already provided in their environments.

“We were looking for a storage solution that would be highly reliable and less time-consuming to manage, in order to meet the increasing demands of our Cloud customers,” said Dan Hamilton, vice president of technology at Whipcord. “With InfiniBox, we obtained more than improved storage system management; we now have the ability to scale our storage capacity as needed and deliver “seven nines” of reliability that gives our customers peace of mind. Our high touch service has always differentiated us, so with the ease of use and stellar performance InfiniBox delivers, our team has more time to focus on the customer.”

“We were looking for a reliable and robust storage system that would allow us to reduce the cost of ownership while increasing our competitive advantage,” said Avi Pollak, CIO at Menora Mivtachim, a leading Israeli insurance company. “We are thoroughly impressed with the InfiniBox and its ability to provide us with improved performance and simple management while dramatically reducing our OpEx and CapEx.”
