Shipments of the InfiniBox Enterprise Data Storage Array Increased by 300%
Needham, MA – May 10, 2016 – INFINIDAT, a leading provider of enterprise data storage solutions, today announced its Q1 2016 results, reporting that the company achieved 213 percent sales growth over Q1 2015. Shipments of the InfiniBox™ enterprise storage array to new customers increased by 300 percent versus Q1 2015 and now amounts to 422 petabytes worldwide.
INFINIDAT continued to expand its reseller and distributor channels in Q1, capturing close to half of its revenue from the channel. INFINIDAT signed agreements with additional resellers and distributors in Q1, increasing its list of global channel partners to 204.

One of INFINIDAT’s Fortune 500 customers has ordered additional storage arrays five times over the last four quarters and now has over 10+ PBs of InfiniBox storage spread across multiple sites. The customer is using the platform for everything from Tier 1 applications, such as their databases and virtual environments, to their data protection environment.
INFINIDAT continued to achieve significant sales traction in key vertical markets in Q1, reporting that 25 percent of sales was to leading firms in the finance sector, 16 percent was in healthcare and life sciences, 16 percent was in telecommunications and cloud services, and 15 percent was in the technology services sector. INFINIDAT added several brand name customers in Q1, including Houston Methodist Hospital (healthcare), Whipcord (cloud services provider), Sizemek (video cloud campaign management), Menora Mivtachim (insurance), Ofek Technologies (cloud computing solutions), Bezeq International (telecommunications), and Colmobil Corporation (motor vehicle importing and distribution).
Some of INFINIDAT’s new customers have commented on the value InfiniBox has already provided in their environments.
